Robert (Rob) A. Letson has been practicing law in Ohio since 2005. Before joining Friedman & Mirman, he served as an Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor for more than a decade. Mr. Letson has extensive courtroom experience as a long-time member of the Special Victims Unit prosecuting violent crimes. He was recognized within the prosecutor's office for his many accomplishments in the courtroom, having tried approximately fifty jury trials and dozens of bench trials and motion hearings in his career. His cases have been covered in local and national media including the Columbus Dispatch, the Washington Post, and New York Post. He has extensive experience in cases of domestic violence.

A lifelong resident of central Ohio, Mr. Letson graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2005, During law school, he worked as a judicial extern for a federal magistrate judge and served as a law clerk in the private and public sectors. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Letson graduated from Colgate University, cum laude, in 2002, with a double major in Mathematics and German.

Mr. Letson became a Board Certified Family Law Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association in 2021. Attorneys with this certification have met and displayed a high level of expertise in their field of practice. He also is a member of the Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations. Mr. Letson was recognized in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for work in Family Law (2021-2023).
