ELIZABETH A. JOHNSON

Elizabeth Johnson has been practicing in the Family Relations Law field since 2004, when she was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio.

Ms. Johnson received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors and Distinction in English from Ohio State University and a Juris Doctorate from Capital University Law School, where she was honored with Order of the Barrister for excellence in trial advocacy.

Ms. Johnson is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association’s Family Law Committee. Ms. Johnson has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star by Law & Politics.

HEATHER B. SOBEL

HEATHER B. SOBEL

Heather B. Sobel has been practicing in the Family Relations Law field since 2013, when she was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio.

Ms. Sobel graduated magna cum laude from the Honors Program at Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She went on to serve with AmeriCorps for 2 years before attending Ohio State University Moritz College of Law as a Moritz Scholar. Ms. Sobel graduated cum laude from Moritz and earned a certificate in Dispute Resolution. While at Moritz, Ms. Sobel was a Symposium Editor for the Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution, Vice President of the Student Bar Association, and President of the Truancy Mediation Project.

Ms. Sobel is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association as well as the Columbus Bar Association.

Erin E. Garvey

Erin E. Garvey

Erin E. Garvey has been practicing in the Family Relations Law field since 2014, when she was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio.

Ms. Garvey received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Denison University, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University. While at Case, Ms. Garvey interned with the Office of the Army Staff Judge Advocate and the Office of the Chief Counsel for the Internal Revenue Service.

Ms. Garvey is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association as well as the Columbus Bar Association.

Robert A. Letson

Robert A. Letson

Robert (Rob) A. Letson has been practicing law in Ohio since 2005. Before joining Friedman & Mirman, he served as an Assistant Franklin County Prosecutor for more than a decade. Mr. Letson has extensive courtroom experience as a long-time member of the Special Victims Unit prosecuting violent crimes. He was recognized within the prosecutor's office for his accomplishments in the courtroom, having tried approximately fifty jury trials and dozens of bench trials and motion hearings in his career. His cases have been covered in local and national media including the Columbus Dispatch, the Washington Post, and New York Post. He has extensive experience in cases of domestic violence.

A lifelong resident of central Ohio, Mr. Letson graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2005, During law school, he worked as a judicial extern for a federal magistrate judge and served as a law clerk in the private and public sectors. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Letson graduated from Colgate University, cum laude, in 2002, with a double major in Mathematics and German. He is a member of the Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations.

Valeriya S. Kryvokolinska

Valeriya S. Kryvokolinska

Valeriya S. Kryvokolinska has been practicing in the Family Relations Law field since 2017, when she was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio. Prior to joining Friedman & Mirman Co., L.P.A., she practiced in a small family law firm, where she represented clients in divorce and custody matters, and served as a Guardian ad Litem for Franklin County.

Valeriya was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and at the age of 10, relocated to Toledo, Ohio, with her mother. Valeriya attended University of Cincinnati, where she studied Criminal Justice. In 2013, Valeriya graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Valeriya moved to Columbus, Ohio to pursue her legal education, and graduated from Capital University Law School, with Pro Bono Legal Honors.

Throughout her law school career, Valeriya interned for Honorable Judge Elizabeth Gill at the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, and participated in the Capital University Legal Clinic, where she represented low income individuals in criminal and civil cases. To expand her legal knowledge, Valeriya also interned as an Assistant Prosecutor at the City of Whitehall Mayor’s Court, where she assisted the City Prosecutor with traffic and minor criminal cases and assisted the City of Whitehall with updating the City of Whitehall Code.

Valeriya is dedicated to serving others and volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children in Franklin County, where she represents the best interest of children, and The Legal Aid Society of Columbus, where she provides legal advice to low income individuals.
